Gods of Savvarah | Part I
A downloadable game
"Gods of Savvarah" is an interactive story (visual novel) in the fantasy genre, inspired by classic RPGs.
Savvarah is an evergreen paradise hidden from the eyes of strangers.
The godlike and all-powerful tyrant Ackotal has sealed himself off from the world and created his own state in the middle of the forest with a rigid hierarchy, at the very bottom of which are lizard-slaves. Hasvah was one of them.
One day, however, the slave receives the chance not only to break out of his imprisonment, but also to change the destinies of other characters and entire nations.
"Gods of Savvarah | Part I" is the first part of great adventure. The protagonist visits different countries, encountering their inhabitants, both ordinary people and gods.
The world of Savvarah is ruthless, so the protagonist has to either fight for his life or die along the way.
Our main features are:
- An original fantasy world, in which Hasvah will visit around five major locations;
- Choices can lead you to seven endings. Besides, there are even more ways to achieve these endings;
- Dozens of characters, each with their own story and appearance;
- Intense battles in every chapter;
- An elaborate visual style and an original and diverse soundtrack.

I usually don't post comments on itch, but I feel like this game isn't getting enough attention. It's one of those rare VN's that really uses its visual novel medium to the fullest:
- Good story and writing in general. Choices really affect the storyline and the main character's behaviour.
- tons of CG's for even slight variations (like unique CG's, not just nighttime/daytime sky). It's clear a lot of work was put into this. These CG's pay off by setting an atmosphere or mood that would otherwise take too many words.
- it has great music and sound effects, again for atmosphere and immersion
From the reports it seems like our choices are planned out on a flowchart, so really excited to see how the characters develop! Would really recommend a gallery menu so we can appreciate all these arts. Thanks for the amazing experience!
Thank you very much : )
In fact, I started using flowcharts already for the following projects.
"Gods of Savvarah" is my first project, so I did quite a lot of work in a not-so-good way.
Anyway as long as you've seen all the content or not you can trace it by the achieves : )
[Spoiler]
I absolutely hook and played til getting all the achievements there is. This visual novel is not just awesome from its arts, background, characters, writting, music to routes and quick time event, but the feeling this novel giving me that I can't revisit twice when it ended.
+The story
-Doesn't confusing and the story can be follow easily through the beginning.
-The story is very good, from the gods, to the species, to the little detail.
-Is focusing the protagonist, Hasvah, as a character development.
-Is not romance based.
-Is not NSFW. Blood and Gore still be seen.
+Arts and Background
-It's so fucking good.
-Lot of arts and scenes in a little span of said arc.
-When the speech going verticle and there's a images describing the texts, goddamn.
-Not enough save slots for me to saving all these arts. I demand more.
+Route/Decisions and Quick time event
-so many routes that I feel sorry for the studio to doing part 2.
-Many choices to pick. Up to 4.
-Choosing any quick time events lead up to different routes/game over as well. (I die many times and I feel dumb)
+Music
-I'm vibing. You screaming, running, seaking freedom all you need but I'm going to vibe.
-Not going to lie, the main menu's theme song making me hit in the feel when I looking to arts of Hasvah's.
+Characters
(Design)
-Lizards; separated to different 7 species. Each of the tribes can be easily tell which is which. Focusing on Ur tribe as protagonist is one. It's great to be reminding from time to time about this tribe's strength but it easily predicted at the writing whenever there's a fighting scene happen.
-Lyoka; Is a human with green skined. The design are not that anything but it making me wanting to punch them in the face, kudo to the designer. Hasvah giving them a title: "Slave that owned slave".
-Human; human.
(Characters)
-Hasvah; this character's writing is incredible. He's more of a listener and act toward more actions, making his character really likeable and not annoying. The character's overall design is plain, it's one of a thing I like, he doesn't have anything is what makes him interesting. He can be silly sometime.
-Kihira; meh. Be there to be Hasvah's lover, know so little but just that. "There's never any person done this to me before" says to Hasvah after he almost got her killed.
-Eul; He's okay. Little screentime. "Achieving the dream before dying" character.
-Alice; Great. almost scream rightaway like any fearful person, but as a kid, she didn't have any streath to scream because really scare. Until seeing Hasvah speaks and be sure that she can be safe around him.
-Dir; very good. Playing a role as a father but he has his own character that is really likeable.
-Ulkai; Great. kill Hasvah rightaway after hearing Hasvah's work with Dadar in the first meeting. Love him or hate him, he's speaking fact.
+World building
